Goin' To A Show
Tomorrow I am heading over to Little Rock to attend the Airgun Expo. This is one of the airgun shows that I am able to go to since it is within driving distance of my home. The Expo is in Little Rock Arkansas which is about 6 hours from my home here in Huntsville. I am going to get up at 3:00 am and drive over for Friday, stay over night, attend the show Saturday and then head home when the show closes.
I have attended several Expos in the past and have always enjoyed myselft. One year, while I was writing for US Airgun, I even stayed with Robin Parks and his wife during the show and helped him some with setup and tear down. That was the year that Robin setup a McGlashen (sp) trainer on the airgun range. That was a blast as it is an automatic BB gun and would tear up a target in no time.
This year I am actually going to have my own table. I decided it was time to go through some of the airgun stuff I have had sitting around for years and sell it. I have 4 or 5 airguns I am going to sell too but most of it is scopes, pellets, catalog/magazines and other misc. equipment. It is really amazing how much stuff accumulates over the years and with selling some of it I can start all over and start accumulating more stuff to sell at future shows! I am really looking forward to seeing many of my airgunning friends at the show. I hope to see some of you there too.
